May my days last as the night grows young

When there's nothing left to do, but spy on your daughter.

• Ferdinand: When you work hard, you play hard. It's not like I'm actually breaking a sweat, or anything. I guess I can use the excuse of being a prince when it comes to household chores, however, even though there is only girl on the island, I'm going to do my best to impress her. She likes it when I work around for her anyways. She's is way nicer than her mean old father, who's already at his boiling point. I have to clean up all of this wood because of him anyways, so I'd better do it. The little comments Miranda's comments really cheer me up, when I'm working hard away.
• Miranda: Hey, you don't have to work so hard. My dad is studying right now and that usually takes about a good three hours. I already started the fire, so you can stop working. Please! Let's just chat for a bit while my father's gone.
• Ferdinand: Oh, my dear, if I take a break now, I won't finish until at least sunset..
• Miranda: Just sit down then and let me take care of that pile.
• Ferdinand: No way, my dear, I'd rather break my own back working than let you this tough work while I just sit around.
• Miranda: I can move wood as well as you can, anyways, it's not like you're telling me to do it; I want to help you out.
